No. Small stones may pass with medication and fluids. Larger or blocking stones may need a procedure. Your doctor will recommend the best option.
Common tests include urine analysis, blood tests, ultrasound and, where required, a CT scan. All are available within the hospital.
This depends on the procedure. Some patients go home the same or next day, while others need longer observation. Your surgeon will explain this beforehand.
