Our Plastic Surgery and Wound Care service, led by Dr. Bharat Naik, Plastic Surgeon, offers expert treatment for wounds that are slow to heal, injuries that need careful reconstruction, and surgical cases that call for a high level of skill. We treat diabetic foot ulcers and chronic wounds, as well as burns, accident-related soft-tissue injuries and other conditions that need specialised repair.

Wounds in people with diabetes need early and careful attention to prevent infection and serious complications. Our approach combines thorough wound assessment, regular dressing and infection control, and surgical repair when needed. With our in-house lab, ICU and OT complex, even complicated surgical cases are managed safely under one roof.

Key Features.

  • Expert plastic surgeon consultation and surgery
  • Specialised care for diabetic foot ulcers and chronic wounds
  • Reconstruction after accidents, burns and soft-tissue injuries
  • Management of complicated surgical procedures in our OT complex
  • Infection control and blood sugar support through in-house lab services
  • ICU backup and structured follow-up care

High blood sugar can reduce blood flow and weaken the body's ability to fight infection, so even small cuts or blisters may take longer to heal and can worsen quickly.

Please consult early if you notice a sore, blister, swelling, redness, discharge, a foul smell, or a wound that is not improving. Early treatment can prevent serious complications.

Not always. Many wounds heal with proper dressing, medication and infection control. Surgery may be advised for deep, infected or non-healing wounds. Dr. Naik will recommend the best option after examination.

These include reconstruction after serious injuries, repair of large or deep wounds, and surgeries that need a specialist's skill. The surgeon will explain the plan, risks and recovery after assessment.
